Self Storage
Facility Co-Manager


Summary: The Self Storage Facility Co-Manager is an energetic, professional, outgoing self-starter who has excellent sales skills, a team player who works well with others with superb marketing and customer service skills. He/she aggressively contributes to profitability by developing and maintaining mutually beneficial business relationships and being committed to customer satisfaction. Has the ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing with both customers and management. The Co-Manager pays close attention to detail in all facets of operations. In addition to, utilizes and understands office software and equipment to achieve mission success.

Responsibilities and Duties: Responsible for the sales and marketing, keeping the facility rented at optimum levels effectively utilizing advertising/promotional incentives as approved by management. Additionally, the Co-Manager provides outstanding customer service, and professionally handles and tracks all web, telephone and walk-in inquiries.

General management of the office including but not limited to opening and closing the office on time each day. Maintains all required tenant documentation in a neat and orderly manner as directed by management. Under the direction of the facility Manager, must be able to control delinquencies by telephone contact and letters on a scheduled basis. Make daily bank deposits and preparing daily, weekly and monthly reports as required by management. Assists in preparing units for auction, vacate as prescribed by law and approved by management. Assess and helps resolve customer issues that may arise at the site level. Visually inspects the facility daily, observes and responds promptly to any situation and advising management regarding operational issues.

Maintain a clean, safe and secure facility including minor maintenance and daily unit checks. Notify the Facility Maintenance Manager of all maintenance items that require attention in a timely manner.

All Managers and Co-Managers will report directly to the Operations Manager.

Experience: Prior self-storage or sales experience preferred. Experience using: self-storage software, automated gate systems, and familiar with Facebook and Twitter preferred. Understanding the use and application of office applications and equipment is highly desirable. Applicant should be able to type 35 WPM.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Physical Demands: In a seated position for approximately six hours per day with light lifting/cleaning.
